Before joining IDA, Hunter worked for over a decade in the private wealth management industry. He worked for Goldman Sachs and multiple RIAs across Southern California. He obtained the CFA designation in 2017 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2019. He specializes in portfolio management managing, investment analysis, and investment research.

At IDA, Hunter serves as the CIO. He is a voting member of the investment committee. He is passionate about helping advisors with client prospecting and sourcing new investments for the IDA Private Access Fund (ONEFX).

Outside of work, Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife and goldendoodle in North County San Diego. He also is an avid runner and enjoys competing in running races around San Diego.
