Bonnie Moseley, CFP
Bonnie is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in finance with an emphasis in investments. Through her 21-year career in the financial services industry Bonnie has worked for Edward Jones, AG Edwards, TD Ameritrade, TD Waterhouse Investor Services, Schwab Institutional, AKT Wealth Advisors, SBR Financial and joined IDA in 2015.
In 2009, Bonnie’s love of culture and travel led her to begin volunteer work with The International Rescue Committee which built her appreciation of being a woman and sparked the desire to work with women and their finances. Through working with refugee families in San Diego, Bonnie discovered where true fulfillment comes from – the beauty and value of giving and in relationships with people.
Bonnie is passionate about philanthropy, connecting local women with other women through women’s groups, supporting education through scholarships and making a lasting impact on women in San Diego. She is committed to volunteer work with numerous organizations, including; International Rescue Committee Youth Programs Scholarship (IRC), Ninety-Nines Scholarship Chair and Women’s Empowerment San Diego.
Bonnie is a private pilot flying out of Montgomery Field in San Diego. She is currently working on her seaplane rating and aspires to obtain her instrument and commercial rating in order to fly medical missions outside of the U.S. as well as locally for Angel Flight West. She enjoys flying, biking, traveling and teaching. She has a little co-pilot, her son, Jonah, who is currently 5 months old.
