Darren A. Evans, CIMA®, GFS

Director, Institutional Client Solutions

Darren is the Director of Institutional Client Solutions at IDA, having over 20 years of experience managing investment portfolios for Institutional and Private Clients, providing asset allocation advice, financial planning, performance measurement and capital markets research.

Prior to Intelligence Driven Advisers, Darren was the Director of Asset Management at both LDI Advisors, LLC and HighTower Advisors, LLC, and an Institutional Research Analyst with Graystone Consulting; the institutional division of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

He graduated from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce – honors – with a major in Finance, and earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Darren is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), and has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) program from the Center of Fiduciary Studies. As a Global Fiduciary Strategist GFS®, Darren subscribes to the philosophy that Leadership, Stewardship and Governance are the primary drivers to decision‐making when serving in critical Fiduciary leadership roles. In addition, as a Certified 401(k) Professional C(k)P® earned through UCLA Anderson Executive Education, Darren further exemplifies both academic aptitude and real-world core competencies related to servicing retirement plan participants.

Combining his passion of cycling, triathlon, and community development, Darren operates a Triathlon Team in the North Valley. He also serves as a Committee Member and decade long participant of Bikes Fight Poverty; an annual multi‐day / multi‐country cycling event benefitting 1Mission.org, an international non‐profit organization focused on providing impoverished families long‐term community sustainability and empowerment by earning a home.

He resides in the Phoenix North Valley with his wife and 2 daughters.
