Rick's been part of IDA since the early days helping shape what the firm has become. He came to wealth management by an unconventional path: after 23 years running a Ford Franchise, he traded entrepreneurship for advising, and since 1992 he's helped clients pursue the same thing he once did for himself — build something and protect it. A business degree from Arizona State University gave him the foundation, but it's the decades since that taught him the rest. Rick has always believed the best financial advice sounds less like a pitch and more like a conversation with someone who's in your corner — a philosophy that shaped how IDA still does business today. These days, Rick's stepped back from day-to-day advising, but he hasn't gone far. As Brand Ambassador, he stays connected to the relationships he spent decades building, and he's usually the first to show up when there's a good story to tell or a client to welcome into the fold.

Rick and his wife, Ruth Ann, have called Southern CA home until recently they moved to Texas. Between five grandchildren, regular golf they show no signs of slowing down- officially retired, unofficially still very much part of the IDA story.
